The operations the AI assistant and MCP clients can run against your drawing.

- Drawing reads — drawing info, layout/sheet summaries, block lists (summary first, detail on filter), attribute lists and tag search, layer and layout lists, table reads (BOM, wire schedule, disconnect schedule).
- Drawing-intelligence tools — five top-level tools that work together: discover entity types, query objects with filters, navigate (select/zoom in your current view), check objects against a saved snapshot, and list what's visible in a layout.

When chat runs in cloud mode, it can also look up the National Electrical Code — the assistant can search and cite NEC requirements (interconnection, conductor sizing, rapid shutdown, and so on) while it reasons about your drawing.
