Start the AI assistant and open the chat in your browser.
Starts the plugin's AI assistant and opens the chat page in your browser. The assistant can read the open drawing — check for missing values, summarize the project, audit sheets — and answer drafting questions in context.
On the ribbon: JobEngine → Assist → AI Chat
Prefer the chat docked inside AutoCAD? Use DT_HELIOS.
When to use it
Any time you want to ask questions about the open drawing or the project, or run a drawing audit conversationally. See the AI assistant guide for what you can ask.
Prerequisites
The assistant is on by default. If your company has turned it off in the plugin's configuration file, the command says so and does nothing.
Common problems

Failed to start sidecar. Check installation. | The assistant's helper program didn't start. Try RECONNECT_DT; if that fails too, reinstall the plugin from the latest installer. |
