Step 2 turns the imported design into a physical site configuration. The user reviews the Aurora layout, confirms PV and storage equipment, attests the site review, and fills in roof, framing, and mounting details for each roof face.

What trips people here: three things gate the rest of the design. (1) Site review must be attested — an un-attested layout reads as unreviewed downstream. (2) Per-face module counts must sum to the imported total — if Face 1 + Face 2 ≠ the Aurora layout, Step 3 and the BOM inherit the wrong count. (3) Mounting hardware (attachment + rail) must match the Step 1 racking system — a SnapNrack job with mismatched rails diverges from the BOM and the planset.
